MgA. Denisa Váňová
I am an illustrator, graphic designer and lecturer. In my work I move along the border between reality and imagination. I try to create places that encourage imagination and curiosity and invite people to look at familiar things from a new perspective. I work with a wide range of artistic media, from printmaking techniques and drawing through mosaic to digital illustration. Alongside my own work I also teach art courses and workshops, and I am interested in how art can nurture imagination and a relationship with the world around us. In my free time I like walking in the forest with my dogs, and playing the piano and the lyre.
